What is Lumnis Espira?
Lumnis Espira is a hobby I’ve been working on for two decades. The main characters have been in my head canon for most of my life. I would like to create a graphic novel / web comic / D&D Campaign / Full-fledged video game. But I doubt I will one day become wealthy enough to ever pursue those goals, so it’s essentially a passion project and hobby.
Who is Lumnis Espira for?
Mostly for myself, but I would like it to be a story for young adults, 16-24+. There are elements and characters that I believe can be for everyone.
What does Lumnis Espira mean?
Lumnis comes from the word lumniscate, or the infinity symbol. But it can also mean illuminating, luminous, from the Latin root words. Espira also has its root in ancient languages, meaning the soul or to breathe. Throughout the story there are scenes and plot points that can reference both meanings or, hopefully, are left up to the viewers / readers interpretation.
Who is the main character in Lumnis Espira?
There are several main characters throughout each book. As with real life, LE is a reflection of that, particularly when violent conflict is involved. Some characters die and others move on, so to specify “main characters” would also lead to spoilers.
Who is the main protagonist in Lumnis Espira?
Serif and members of the Last Tier could be considered as the central protagonists in Book One with the different Tiers of the city being the antagonistic groups.
